Since my dad passed away the moody blues of this artwork have sometimes mirrored my own emotions. . He surfed for years until he broke his leg in an accident three years ago. The grief after he died suddenly can be like rolling waves. They pass, I have learnt, and then the beauty comes back for a while until the next wave.
